The PoP Session section of the application give the user the following information:<p>

<img src="file:///c|/solo2/nshelp/dot.gif"> Accumulative time - the total time of all call made to date. You can reset this at any time by double-clicking on the box<p>
<img src="file:///c|/solo2/nshelp/dot.gif"> Disconnect - this is greyed out when the service has not connected, but once you have gained access to the service then you are of course able to disconnect from it<p>
<img src="file:///c|/solo2/nshelp/dot.gif"> Connect - this is available to connect to the service, and is also greyed out when the application is connected to the Solo service<p>
<img src="file:///c|/solo2/nshelp/dot.gif"> Connect to - shows which of the PIPEX PoPs the user is dialling in to<p>
<img src="file:///c|/solo2/nshelp/dot.gif"> Modem button - this allows the user to change the modem settings that they are using, either in the case of changing the type of modem being used, or in the case of trouble shooting, see the <a href="http://www.solo.pipex.com/solo/nshelp/help.htm">HELP</a> section.<p>
<b>Quick Launch</b><p>
This section allows the user, to launch an application that they wish to use with the service. The applications that come with Solo are:<p>
<b>Mail-It2</b> can be launched either in a disconnected or a connected state, giving the user the power of a full off-line mail reader & composer. Once you have finished creating your mail you can then connect to the service, by pressing the connect button.<p>
<b>Netscape</b> can be launched once you have used SOLO to connect to the service.
Netscape is an Internet information browser and newsreader. It uses a hyperlink system in the form of highlighted phrases linking the user to other document or resource information on the Internet.<p>
<b>Ping</b> is used to find out if you have a connection to the PoP server.<p>
<B>Telnet</B> is allows you to login to remote computers and use them as though you were at a local terminal. <P>
<B>Note:</B> Mailt-It2, Ping and Telnet are only available on the full Solo and not the demonstration version. <P>
